I believe age shouldnt matter
Published 1 year, 11 months ago in Local services.I believe that contests like this one shouldn’t be age appropriate. I believe that you dont need to be 18 years old to win an ipod nano. I am 13 years old and i believe that teenagers like me should be given a go as well. I think that as long as we have parents permission we should be allowed to participate in competitions like this.
If you believe the same way that i do plese comment me back with your name, age and user name and i will be passing it on to the leader.

There are alot of contests out there that over 18’s can’t enter too. As they are designed for only teenages or children. Would it be fair if an adult won an ipod in a competition designed for teenagers?
No I agree with Aidan, I’m 23 so this doesn’t actually affect me, but does concern me, as society is marginalising under 18’s. Theres probably some sort of legal reason why, and this legal reason should be questioned and changed. Under 18’s cannot be involved in areas where there may be alcohol, and many teens simply have to miss their fav band coming to town because it is in a licensed venue (stupid law, teens are allowed in restaurants that serve alcohol) and competitions such as this just add to it. Its an issue society has to address, we are sensitive to race, ethnicity, religion, gender and sexual preference throughout society (e.g equal opportunity, anti discrimination) when will we stop treating youth as second class citizens?
